John Rexford has been an estate planning and real estate attorney since 1985. He has specialized in Wills and Living Trusts since 1990. As a member of both the Michigan and Massachusetts State Bars, he has had offices in southeastern Michigan and central Massachusetts. The office recently moved from Upton to the Historic Blackstone Valley town of Whitinsville, MA (part of Northbridge), near the Town Common. It is shared with Peter Plumb, C.P.A..
Background
John graduated from University of Michigan in 1978 and Suffolk Law School in Boston in 1984. He has been active in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. John offers easy-to-understand seminars for private companies, civic groups, churches and other organizations. Topics include leadership, team-building, marriage and estate planning issues. He offers free seminars at his office and through area churches.
As a Christian, John has served in various leadership roles in Michigan and Massachusetts churches, including Director of Ministry and Administration and Interim Pastor. John has experience identifying and developing leaders for churches and other organizations. He and his family also participate in short-term trips to China through an organization called English Leadership Training Edge, Inc. ( www.ELTEdge.org). These trips are motivated by John's faith but carried out with respect for Chinese culture and government and are open to other participants.
